Exodus 3-6

“Why should I hire you?”

“You shouldn’t.”

“What qualifications do you have?”

“None.”

“How can you help our company?”

“I can’t.”

“You’re hired!

“Dang it!”

Moses doesn’t want the job, but the bush just won’t take ‘no’ for an answer. Moses has clearly shown interest in matters of justice. But his ways are not God’s ways. God seems intent on hiring a man of some speaking ability. Moses fancies himself a man of action. It doesn’t seem a good fit. But, try as he might, Moses just can’t squirm out of it. So…it looks like he’s got a job…like it or not.
